Blair Redford of the Young and the Restless
Attends a Performance of Peachtree Battle

January 7, 2006 ( Atlanta , GA ) Blair Redford, who plays Scott Grainger on the CBS Soap, Young and the Restless, delighted audience members when he sneaked into aperformance of PEACHTREE BATTLE at the Ansley Park Playhouse this past weekend.

Neither Redford nor Peachtree Battle playwright John Gibson would confirm that Redford’s attendance was actually an opportunity for the actor and producer to meet about a possible upcoming Peachtree Battle movie, but recently quite a few celebrities and been popping up at the show. Burt Reynolds and director Amanda Bearse have both recently been seen in the audience adding to the Peachtree Battle movie rumors.

Redford , a native Atlantan, has also recently appeared in the feature films Preserving Sweet , Slip, The Other Side and Voodoo Moon, starring Charisma Carpenter.

Still celebrating over 4 years of SOLD OUT performances , PEACHTREE BATTLE is now held over through February 26th and is the longest running theatrical production in Atlanta history.

This comedy centers on a blueblood, Buckhead family wedding and introduces an unforgettable mother, Trudy Habersham, as her favorite son is getting ready to marry a Hooter’s girl! Mix in the alcoholic grandmother, a cheating husband, an anorexic daughter, the oldest gay son, and a maid from the battered women's shelter, and this Atlanta family wedding is truly a PEACHTREE BATTLE.
